Colltson, 81, of Calves Neck, Southold, died June 7 at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Green- port. Born in Annapolis, Md., on January 4,1894, the son of William D. and Corrie Collins Collison, he had been a resident of Southold for 16 years, a retired executive officer of Office Furniture Co. Since his retire ment, Mr. Collison was a real estate* salesman. He is survived by his wife, Erna Collison: a son, Bert Collison of Wyckoff, N.J.; a b rother, William D. Collison of Maryland; two sisters, Ethel Collison and Mildred Johnson; three grandchildren, Michael J., Kenneth C. and Douglas A. Graveside services were held June 11 at Evergreens Cemetery, Brook lyn. N.Y. EDWARD E. GOUBEAUD Edward E. Goubeaud, 55, Main Road, Southold died June 4 at the ELI Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on May 28, 1920, and was the’ manager of a produce store on Shelter Island. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bauer Goubeaud; three brothers, Joseph of Cutchogue, William of Southold. and Charles of Southold and Jackson Heights; several nieces and nephews also survive. Mass of the Resurrection was offered at St. Patrick's Church. Southold on June 7. Interment was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Southold Historical Society. CATHERINE E. STARKIE Catherine E. Starkie, 79, of Hay- waters Road, Nassau Point, Cutch ogue, formerly of Hicksville.L. I., died June 8, at the ELI Hospital, Green- port, aftera long illness. She was born in North Tonawanda, N.Y., on Sep tember 23i' 1895, and was a Cutchogue resident for 45 years. Mrs. Starkie is survived by her husband, George H. Starkie, Sr.; a son, George H. Starkie, Jr., of Brentwood; two daughters, Elise Webb, Greenport, and Cecile Buckley of Hicksville; 12 grandchildren also survive. Services were held June 10 at the DeFriest Funeral Home, Inc., Matti- tuck, with Reverend Thomas Clarkin officiating. WILLIAM A. MULLIO William A. Mullio, 73, of Burtis Lane, Peconic, died June 5 at the ELI Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on May 24, 1902. Surviving are his wife, Luella Mullio; two daughters, Elizabeth Allen of Brooklyn, and Barbara Poynor of Albuquerque, N.M.; 3 brothers, Edmund of Forked River, N.J., Raymond of Levittown, L.I., and Norbert of Brooklyn; two sisters, Theresa Polak and Rita Knorr, both of Brooklyn; six grandchildren also s u r vive. Funeral services were held at the DeFriest Funeral Home, Inc., June 7, with Reverend Paul Dahm officiating. Interment was in the Sterling Ceme tery, Greenport. DRAGICA BOSKOVICH Dragica (Caroline) Boskovich, nee Janes, the wife of Joseph Boskovich diedJuneS at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Greenport. Born in Plesce, Austria (now Yugoslavia), she was a former resident of Somerville, New Jersey, and had lived in Southold for seven years. Services were conducted by F ather Flaherty, Sunday a t8p.m . M a ssof the Resurrection was offered Monday, June 9 at St. Patrick’s Church, Southold. Interment was in St. Pat rick’s Cemetery. JOHN McGINN Services for John Jeffrey McGinn, 44, a government electronics division employee of Motorola, Inc., the past two years, were June 2 in the First Congregational Church of Tempe, Sixth Street and Myrtle, Tempe, Ariz. Mr. McGinn, of 5414 Marine Drive, died Saturday in Desert Samaritan Hospital at Mesa. Survivors include his wife, M arga ret; children, Janice, Brianand Diane; three brothers and a sister; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. McGinn. LYDL\ A. KNIGHT Miss Lydia A. Knight, 84, of School House Road, Cutchogue, died June 7 at the Smithown General Hospital, Smithtown. Born in New York on May 12, 1891, the daughter of Mary Ann McGown Knight, she had been a resident of Cutchogue, for 20 years. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Dorothy L. Meyer of Queens Village. Graveside services were held June 9 at the Cutchogue Cemetery, with Reverend Edmund Claypool officiat ing. THOMAS C. O’KEEFE Thomas C. O’Keefe of Mattituck, Long Island, a retired stock broker and former senior partner of Tobey and Kirk, died Sunday at Eastern Long Island Hospital after a brief illness. He was 75 years old. Mr. O’Keefe joined Tobey and Kirk, a former New York Stock Exchange firm, 57 years ago and later became a member of the Curb Exchange and subsequently the American Stock Exchange. A mem ber of the New York Stock Exchange for 40 years, Mr. O’Keefe was also an inactive member of the Cotton Exchange. He was a charter member of the Buttonwood Club of New York. A resident of Rockville Centre for more than 45 years, Mr. O’Keefe had belonged to the Rockville Links Country Club and more recently was a member of the North Fork Country Club in Mattituck. He is survived by his widow, the former Marie Swanson; two daugh ters, Gloria Dickey and Muriel No- • Ian; two brothers William and Chauncey, and four g randdaughters. GEORGE GRIFFING MUIR George Griffing Muir, 60, of East Marion, died June 4, 1975 at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Green port. He was the son of John and Mary Griffing Muir and husband of the former Mary Ann Vail. He was a community-minded per son, a member of the East Marion Fire Department since he was 18, a member of the Fire Commissioners, served on the East Marion school board and was a member of the Gun Club and the East Marion Baptist Church. During World War II, he was a master sergeant, serving in Guinea. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Vail Muir; his mother, Mary Griffing Muir; a brother. Abbot Muir; a daughter, Jill Muir of Southold; three step-children, Susan Park Utz of Groton, Conn., David Miller Park of Huntington, L.I., William Edgar Park of Southold, and nine grandchildren. Burial was private. Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to Eastern Long Island Hospital. CATHERINE R. NUBEL j/M> Catherine R. Nubel, 70, of North Road, Southold. died at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Greenport, June 6. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on October25,1904 the d aughter of Dennis and Ellen Tully O’Neill. She was a member of the Mattituck Senior Citizens, retired from the Nassau County Clerk’s office. Surviving are a daughter, Joan E. Foote, Nassau Point, Cutchogue; a son, Vincent A. Nubel, Detroit, Micliigan; a sister, Ann Hamel, Floral Park, N.Y., and six grandchildren, Michael and Katie Nubel, Charles L. Kevin, Glenn and Ellen Foote. Mass was offered June 9 at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Cutchogue. Inter ment was in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, N.Y. JAMES LEE CONNOR James Lee Connor, 84, of Jackson Street, New Suffolk, N.Y. died June 7. Born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Septem ber 12, 1890 he had been a resident of New Suffolk for ten years. Mr. Connor was a member of the North Fork Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Baierlein Connor; two sons, James H. Connor of Manhasset, and Reverend Robert A. Connor of Scars- dale; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Connor; two sisters, Helen Lee and Julia Connor, both of New York City; two grandchildren, Cathleen Mary and James Lee, II. A recitation of the Rosary was held at the Rogers Funeral Home, Cutch ogue, on Monday evening. Mass was offered at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Cutchogue, June 10. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. ROBERT AULD Robert Auld, Southold, died June 10, 1975. He was born in Massa chusetts. Mr. Auld was a member of the New England Society, Chinese Yacht Club, North Fork County Club and Seventh Regiment. Surviving are his wife, Hilda Light Auld, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the Southold Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flow ers, donations may be directed to the heart fund. ELENORA STEWART Mrs. Elenora Stewart, wife of Riverhead Police Officer Malcolm Stewart, died June 10 after a short illness. Mrs. Stewart was born in Emporia, Virginia, the daughter of the late Ida and Cullen Wyche. She was baptised in Southold and joined the First Baptist Church in Cutchogue, later moving her membership to the River- head First Baptist Church. Mrs. Stewart attended Southold High School, Dowell School of Dressmaking and Design and medical aid training school. The Riverhead community knew her as a helping, comforting individual, extending the power of faith to many. She is survived by her devoted husband, Malcolm Stewart; two sis ters; one brother; ten sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; an uncle and a host of friends. She will lie in state at the First Baptist Church, Riverhead, from today until services tomorrow, June 13, at 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements are u n d erthe direction of the DeFriest Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cutchogue Cemetery with trus tees of the First Baptist Church, Riverhead. serving as pallbearers and staff members of Central Suffolk Hospital serving as fiower bearers.
