CHRISTIAN SCIENCE “Everlasting Punishment” is the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, October 29. The Golden Text is: “Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit; for why will ye die, 0 house of- Israel?” Among the citations which com prise the Lesson-Sermon is the following from the Bible: \And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. . . . If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will 1 hear from heaven, and will for give their sin, and will heal their land.” The Lesson-Sermon also in cludes the following selection from the textbook of Christian Science, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Justice requires reforma tion of the sinner. Mercy cancels the debt only when justice ap proves. . . . It is error to suffer for aught but your own sins. Christ, or Truth, will destroy all other supposed suffering, and real suffering for your own sins will cease in proportion as the sin ceases.” LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF SALE COUNTY COURT SUFFOLK COUNTY FEDERAL FARM MORTGAGE CORPORATION, etc..
