Suffolk County Must Pay a $137,613 Bill The Suffolk County Board of Su pervisors must pay a judgment of $137,613 secured by the Lindlots Corporation in a decision handed down by the Court of Appeals, in an appeal t a k e n by the county from a decision of a lower court. The realty fought a four-year fight for lots purchased in 1928. The suit was based on the allegation that the titles to the property were de fective. The realty corporation o r iginally paid the, county $76,000 for the lot.s but to this must Ix* added Interest and costs of t h e litigation. The county may t>e forced to de fend other actions of a similar n a ture in the near future. Suffolk County Sends 14 to 4-H Congress On .June 26-30, 200 4-H Club boys and girls from all parts of New York State took over the upper campus of Cornell University for the seventeenth annual 4-H Club Congress.
