Stomach trouble is Uncle Sam ’s middle name. The Turk who came over to do a vaudeville turn, said it was because Americans drank ice w a ter instead of hot, coffee, as the Turk does, even in the intense heat of summer. A good many other reasons equally as fantastic have been given. But the fact rem a ins th a t the strong stom ach digests food. Some are able to eat anything and seemingly suffer no ill effects from shameful eating. Oth ers are tied to crackers and- milk' or “ baled hay” and cream. Nearly everyone is familial; with the symptoms, even if the trouble has not been experienced since “green ap ple” days. There is a sharp pain, a dragging sensation, nervousness, bel ching of gas, bad breath, and a gen eral feeling of heaviness in the neigh borhood of the stomach. Nothing eaten seems to “agree.” When the chiropractor makes a spinal analysis of a case suffering from stomach trouble, he invariably finds displacement of the joint of the backbone between the shoulder blades, known among chiropractors as the “stomach place\ joint. Adjustments a t this point remove the cause of the stomach trouble and the most stub born cases are corrected. H AD STOM ACH TROUBLE — FIFTEEN YEARS “I suffered with stomach trou ble for fifteen years until I finally was completely run down. con sulted a specialist but got only tem p o rary relief.
