Although tbe moving picture shows, which were expected to pay most of tbe expenses of our field day, were al most a failure, don’t think for a min ute that we are not going to have aa big a time as usual this year.- We may not show much profit from tbe . event, but the affair was not original ly intended for pecuniary profit, but just a day for the firemen, and if the committee without the expected profits from tbe moving picture show, is able to handle tbe day successfully, and there is not the elighteat doubt that it will, it will have more than fulfilled tbe purpose for which it was intended.
