NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING The Board of Education of Union Free School District Number Nine, of the Town of Hempstead, County of Nassau, N. Y., hereby give notice that a Special Meeting of the inhabitants of Union Free School D istrict Number Nine, of the Town of Hempstead, County of Nassau, N. Y., will be held in the Colonial Theatre on S. Main Street, in the village of Freeport, in said district on the 26th day of April, 1913, at 7 :30 o’clock P. M., for the purpose of submitting the following resolutions, in which taxes are pro posed, the amount and object thereof being specified, to the qualified voters of said district, for their action on any one or more thereof, as they may de termine. FIRST PROPOSITION. 1st RESOLVED, That a parcel of land in Union Free School District Number Nine, of the Town of Hemp stead, the description whereof by metes and bounds is as follows: ALL that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Village of Freeport, County of Nassau and State of New York, bounded and i described, as follows: BEGINNING a t I the intersection of the Northerly line j of Randall Avenue and the Westerly line of Bergen Place, running thence northerly along the westerly line of i said Bergen Place, one hundred and I eighty (180) feet; thence running west i erly parallel with Randall Avenue three hundred (300) feet to the easter ly line of Wallace Street; running thence southerly along the easterly line of said Wallace Street one hundred and eighty (180) feet to the Northerly line of Randall Avenue, running thence easterly along the Northerly line of Randall Avenue three hundred (300) feet to the point or place of beginning, containing all the land within said bounds, (the property to be conveyed subject to the usual Randall Park Re strictions,) be and the same is hereby designated, as a site for a School House in sain district. 2nd RESOLVED, That the Board of Education of Union Free School Dis trict Number Nine of the Town of Hempstead, be and it hereby is author ized and directed to purchase said land on the North side of Randall Avenue between Bergen Place and Wallace Street, in said district, designated as a site for a school house, at a sum not exceeding twelve thousand ($12,000) dollars, and raise said sum by tax upon the taxable property in said district, to be collected in six (6) equal annual installments beginning with the year 1923 as provided by section 467 of the Education Law. SECOND PROPOSITION RESOLVED, That the Board of Edu cation of Union Free School District Number Nine, of the Town of Hemp stead, be and it hereby is, authorized and directed to employ an architect to prepare plans and specifications for'a new school bouse, subject to the provi siona of sections 461, 452 and 468 of the Education Law and to erect, a school house in accordance with such plans and specifications, with the ne cessary heating, lighting and ventilat ing apparatus, on the site designated for that purpoee and to expend in the preparation of such plans and apecifi- cations and the erection of such school house and apparatus, the sum of one hundred and twenty-five ^thousand ($126,000) dollars, which sum shall be raised by tax upon the taxable prop erty of the diatrict and be collected in annual installments aa follows, one thousand ($1000) dollars, in the year 1928, the balance in thirty-one (31) equal annual installments of four thou sand ($4000) dollars, each, beginning with the year 1929, as provided by sec tion 467 of the Education Law.
