Captain Duck told Mr. Tay-1 lor that be had purchased the animal from a dealer who travele through the country buying up old horses, for $6. Althougth Mr. Taylor valued the ani mal highly, it appeared to have such a good home that he permitted the present possessor thereof to retain possesaion upon his promise to give the dog a good home for the remainder of ite life. Arrangement# are being made for a grand ball to be held at the Rockville Centre Club Heuse early in April.
