Davis of Coram , became the bride of Thomas Edgar Dixon of Oneonta , son of Mrs . Ed- ward PfeiiTer of Jennings avenue , % Patchogue , on Saturday afternoon at 3 o ' clock. The ceremony, performed by the Rev. William Stewart of Middle Is- land , took place before the fireplace which was trimmed with white and colorech p h-lox , and-gladiolus and zin- nias . % were used -for decorations throughout the house. The bride , who wore; a white jersey street-length' dress and a corsage of white gardenias , was attended 1 by Mrs. Clunet Lewis, of Jackson Heights. The best man was James E. Buxton Of El mira Heights. Afte r the ' cere- mony a buffet supper ' for about 25 guests took place. Mr. and Mrs. ' Dixon are traveling through the New England states and afterwards will reside in • Oneorito , wliero Mr. Dixon is - employed by the Central New York Gas and Electric company. He is a graduate of ¦ Pat- chogue High school and Cornell uni- versity. Mrs. Dixon was a teacher , in the Southampton schools , and be- fore that , taught in Holtsville. The driver of the car , according to police , was Arthur T. -Nugee ,. aged 38 , a wire lather , of 99 Pilot street , City Island. Follo wing Mr. Misiano ' s death , Mr; Nugee was arrested, on a charge of criminal negligence. Arraigned before Justice of the Peace Arthur R; Reiph of Medford , Nugee was releas- ed in $500 bail , pending the outcome of a joint inquest and hearing on Fri- day afternoon . Brookhaven T o wn Officers Alber t Quittlan der and Otto Hettesheimer investigated. Mr. Misiano was born in Italy and had lived for the past six years in Selden , wh ere he was employed by J. Logan Dare. He leaves only his cousin . The fuheral service was : held yesterday in the O. B. : Davis Funeral home , Port Jeffers on , followed by in- terment in Selden Union cemetery. ^ William - John Schild , aged 34 , of Clinton avenue , North • Patchogue , a salesman for Borden ' s Milk Co., was fatally injured at 3:20 a; m. Sunday in an automobile accident on Montauk highway, West Sayville. According to ' Islip Town police , Mr. Schild was traveling westward on Montauk highway, driving a light truck , owned by the Borden company of Atlantic avenue , Blue Point , and apparently swerved sharply to avert a collision with an uniden tified car , causing his truck to overturn. He was f lung from the truck , landing 1 about 15 feet from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the arrival shortly afterwards of Dr. David Mac- Donell of Sayville. The accident.happened in front of the. Red Anchor tavern in West Say- ville , and judging from marks on the roadway, police say, a ear was \ driven out from the Red Anchor property on the north , side of the road across the path of the Schild truck. Police ques- tioned the owner s of the Red Anchor establishment , but they could shed no lig ht on the accident , police say . Born in New York , Mr. Schild had lived in North Patchogue for more than three years. He leaves his mother , Mrs. Olga S. Schild of Louisville , Ky. ; his ' wife , Mrs. Ethel Reichelt Schild , and a daughter , Miss Gloria Schild. The funeral service was held at 8 p. m. yesterday i?> the Schild home , the Rev. Alex Von Schliehten of Islip officiating. Interment was made to- day in Oakwood cemetery, Bay Shore. Mrs. Dob rian Injured Mrs A Gabriel Dobrian , aged 26 , of 52 Division street , Patchogue , was injured at 12:40 a. m. Sunday, when the car in which she was riding was involve d in a collision in front of her home. The report of Patrolman Norris Gilman showed that Mrs. Dobrian was in a car owned by. her late brother- -in-law , Joseph Dobrian of Center Moriches , and operated by the latter ' s son-in-law , John J. Harron , aged 27 , of 305 Lafayette avenue , Brooklyn. Mrs. Harron had been sitting in the •front seat with her husband ,.and Mrs. Dobrian was in the rear seat with her husband. The Dobrian car , the report show- ed , had been headed into the drive- way of the Dobrian home when the motor stalled and the car was struck by an eastbound sedan , owned and driven by Clarence G. Sharp, aged •39 , of Cleveland avenue , Sayville. Mrs. Dobrian was attended by Dr, John J. Bennett of Church street , Patchogue , for injurie s of the right shoulder and knee. ¦ A head-on collision on West Main street near Prospect avenue , Patch- ogue , at 4:15 p. m. Monday caused injuries to three persons and wrecked two cars. . The report of Patchogue Village Car Spins Around Patrolman Winfield Corston showed that the accident involved a cabriolet , owned and driven by David R. Logan , aged 35 , Of 1151 New York avenue , Brooklyn , who was driving eastward on West Main street , and a coach , owned and driven by Fre d M. R y der , ajjed . 62 , of 31 Pine street , Sayville , who had been driving westward on West Main street , and ' was ; turning south into Prospect avenue. The force of the impact spun * the Ryder car around , - while the Logan car was skicTdihg to a stop within six feet of one oi the pumps at the Tydol gas station on the southeast corner of ' the intersection. •The injured were : David R. Logan , driver , cut on forehead and bruised right ankle; Mrs. Evelyn Logan , his wife , slight shock , concussion an d cuts arid bruises of face apd hand , arid : Fred • M. Ryder , driver; shock and cut ox leg. Mr. and Mrs. Logan were attended by Dr. iW. W. Gardner of East Main s treet , Patchogue , - and Mr. Ryder was attended by Dr. David MacDonell of Sayville. Six person s were injured in a rear- end collision on Middle- Country : road , Selden , at 11:20 p. m. Friday, involv- ing a sedan , owned and driven by John JA Stedman , aged. - -48 , of -70-24 65th place , Glendale , and a coup e , owned by George Schleuter and driv- en by his wife , Mrs. Doris Schleuter , aged 48 , hoth of Selden , according to police. The report of Brookhaven Town Officer Otto Hettesheimer showed that the Stedman car , - eastbound , had been - brough t to a stop to discharge a passenger , wh en the vehicle was struck in the rear by the Schleuter car. The injured were : Mrs. Mary Sted- man ,. aged 42 , wife of the driver of the sedan , cuts and bruises of the right arm , elbow , both knees and legs , and possible fractur e of the skull; John Stedman , Jr., aged 12 , possible fracture of the jaw , several lower teeth knocked loose , and lacera- tion of the chin; Mrs. Theodore Schleuter , aged' 59 , mother of George Schleutei* , laceration of the face , pos - sible fraeture of the skull, laceration of the left knees and left hand ; i Pau l Schleuter ^ aged 60 , father of George Schleuter , cuts and bruises of the right elbow; Mrs. Doris Schleuter , driver of coupe , laceration of right knee , possi bl e fracture of the ribs ; Robert Sullivan ,, aged 14 , of 52-31 Skillman avenue , Woodside; a sum- mer resident of Selden , cut tongue and bruises of tegs and arms. The Ste 'dmans and young Sullivan were riding in the Stedman car , and the three members of the Schleuter family were 'riding in the Schleuter Three persons were injured in a rear-end collision on Montauk high- way, east of Yaphank avenue , Brook- haven , at 7:30 p. m. Saturday. The report of Brookhaven Town Officer Elmer Roberts showed that the accident involved a coupe , owned by Walton R. Bishop of Glasson ave- nue , Mastic , and driven by his wife , Mrs. Helen Reed Bishop, aged 25 , ' of Damn avenue , Mastic , and- a scclein , owned and driven by Giriaco Russo , aged 82 , of 1G2A Hull street , Brook- lyn. , Mrs . Bishop later told police , thoy say, that the motor of her car had, stalled , and she was attempting to restart St , when the car was struck in the rear by the Russo car. The injured , all passengers in the Russo car who wore attended by Dr. Perry Horenstein of Bellport, were Ciriaco Russo , aged 32, driver , lacer- ations of the cliin and righ t cheek; Vincent Zollq, aged 20 , oi Mastic, fracture of the ribs and lacerations of the forehead¦ ' : said nose , and Anna Coviello , aged nine , of Mastic , lacer- ations of the head and nose. A coach , -driven * by William Fresh- man of GreenportAand a sedan , driv- en by George McClusky of 1628 West Seventh street , Bro oklyn , were dam- aged-in:-a- - collisi&n on-Middle ' Country road , near Lyon ' s garage , Coram , at 1:10 p. m. S aturday. The report of Brookhaven Town ' Officer Wallace Jay showed that the ' Freshman car was eastbound , arid the McClusky car was westbound , and that the accident ; ap- parently ^followed after both had pulled out irito the center lane of the three-lane highway. Bumped at Corner A- car driven ¦ by Charles C. Mackle of Bellport and one driven by Stan- ley Wnerita of Yaphank . avenue , Brookhaven , -were involved in a ' rear- end collision at 11' : '20 a. m. Sunday on East ' Main street -at Case avenue , Patchogue , ' according to n report made to Brookhaven Town police. Mr. Mackl e , driving westward on East Main street , was preparing to , make a right turn into Case avenu e , when his car was struelc in the rear by the Wnehta car , the report showed. Sedans driven by Mrs. Florence Pearsall of East Islip and John ' Kiehl oi' Center Moriches were involved in a collision on 'East Main street r at the driveway leading from Weinberg ' s parking lot in Patchogue , at '4:30 p. m. Friday, according to the rep ort of Patchogue Patrolman Vernon Tu- ley . The report showed that the Pear- sall car was bein g driven eastward, and that the Kiehl car was emerging from the Weinberg lot. A small : sedan owned by May Quinn and operated by William N. Quinn of Long Island City, collided with - another small sedan owned and operated by Donald Walter Ross of Kew ; Gardens , at the intersection of Pine-road-and - Longfellow drive , Mas- tie Beach Friday about .4:30 p. m. According to the report of Brook- haven Town Police Officers ^ George Schultz and Charles Dominy the front end of Quinn ' s car was damaged and the left door , fender' and side of Ross ' car were bent . Ross received an abrasion on his head. <j> : — =*. $> I Car Skids on Fresh Tar | g, _ : Or Fresh tar that had just been put on the road by Islip town road workers caused the skidding of a car and re- sulted in an accident yesterday after- noon , eigh t summer residents of Lake Ronkonkoma being injured. Mrs. Mary Levey, 50 , of 1265 79th street , Brooklyn , . and Portion road , Lake Ronkonkoma , driving a car owned by Sheila Esbensen , 24 , same addresses , was drivin g south on Vanderbilt boule- vard , Oakdale , on the east side of the road which had not been newly oiled , when she - noticed a car coming towards ' her on the same side , accord- ing to the report - of Tslip Town po- lice. To avoid a collision , Mrs. Levy drove over to the freshly tarred side of the roadway, and the car skidded and struck a tree. Those hurt , and their injuries , were Mrs. Levey, right wrist , fracture of left arm , punctured left elbow , abra- sions of both knees , multiple contu- sions; and the following passengers in the Levey car : Sheila Esbensen , laceration of right leg, abrasions of left hi p; Louis Allen , 12 , lacerations of forehead; Rosemary Allen , 10 , laceration beneath left eye; Kathleen Allen , 8 , laceration inside of nose; John Allen , 13 , contusion of left arm , skull injury; Maurean Esbenson , 3 , abrasion and contusion of left knee and righ t wrist; Victori a Fl o wick , 16 , abrasion of left wrist and lacerations of left arm , chin and mouth. All arc from Brooklyn , spending the sum- mer on Portion road , with the ex- ception of the Flowick girl , whose only address was given as Portion roa-d , police say. They were treated at the office of Dr., Walter Roettinger in Ronkonko- ma. The Islip Town road truck took one of the injured there , while Walter Allen , employee of the South Side club , Oakdale , conveyed the*others. The front end of the car was badly damaged. Town Officers A Michael Turoczi and Everard Case investigat- ed. Jo s eph Parrel! , aged 29 , of -Ever- green drive , Selden , was reported to Brookhaven Town police Sunday as the victim of a hit-run motorist. Far- rell was found about 9 a. m. Sunday lying in the roadway jvt Lake and Evergreen drives , Selden , by Joseph Gr^scon, who lives nearby, according to police. Ho was attended by Dr, Wilbur S, Stalces . of Patchogu e for n fracture of the shoulder , and lacerv ations of the 'nook then was removed to Southside hospital , ' Bay Shore. Hallock , aged 13 , of 166 Maple avenue , Patchogue , was ' in- jured at 9 :20 p. mA Monday, when the bicycle he was riding on Academy street , near the K. of C. clubhouse , Patchogue , was struck by a west- bound car , owned by Mrs. Fannie Jud- elso3i-and operated by her son , Henry Rr Judelson , aged 23 , both of 253 Jennings avenue , Patchogue. Judelson told police , they say, that the Hallock boy entered the roadway from behind a car parked at the north curb. The bicycle had no lights , police say. Young Hallock was at- tended by Drs. Myron Hafer and Wilbur S. Stakes , both of Church street , Patchogue , for fracture of the right leg and lacerations of the scalp. Patchogue Village Patrolman Roland Baker investigated. Anna-DeRoo , one of the strikers , and Albert iKorman of -Bernpsteati , strike leader , was the ' :latest -develop- . ment in the Patchogue 'Plymouth mall strike , which is in * its ninth 'Week. The outbreak took p lace as an . automobile was ¦¦ ¦ ¦ about 'to ' be - driveri th rough - the .-mill gate , outside of whteh; about- 100' pickets were * march- ing in close formation j ' with ^Patrolmen George Meyer among the 'Officers on duty. A -scuffle occurred around : Ofiieer Meyer , • Whereupon ; he - told Mrs. • De- ;Roo she was :under - arrest on ' a third ' degree assult charge. • : In • the midst of this Korman , professional spokesman ' for the striking organiza- tion , allegedly interfered with Officer Meyer. Tli e pickets crowded around the group on the street , as Korman be- gan, questioning Officer Meyer , -where- upon the officer < left the scene With- out Mrs. 'DeRoo. A' short time later , Mrs. DeRoo and Korman , escotted by six or seven stri kers , voluntarily went to head- quarters and were told, to appear in Village court Monday night. Officer Meyer later said he stood in front of the pickets at one point in the narrow file formation , to permit the car to go through , when the pic- kets behind him began to gather around ' him. He then stretched out his arms in an effort to hold back the group, when suddenly, he says , an object , which he claims was a: pocket- book wielded by Mrs. ^DeRoo , jwas brought down upon his head. Mrs . -DeRoo , who contended that she had been struck by-Officer Meyer , then allegedly'became moi' e forcefu l in her objections and kicked him , ' according to the charge macie against h er. - Mrs. DeRoo and Korman , accom- panied- by more than ' 100 of the strikers , crowded into the Village courtroom Monday nigh t , when the two cases were scheduled to be heard 1 before Police Justice August D. Schoenfeld , Jr. When Judge Schoenfeld informed Korman that he was charged with disorderly conduct , he objected , say- ing that this \ was not the charge mentioned by Judge ; Schoenfeld in the midafternocn , when Kox*man visited! the judge ' s office.
