SHORE PAVILION HAS LARGER BEACH , CAR AREA William Huber , Rudolf Lipponer and George Lipponer have opened Ronkonkoma Shore pavilion for the season. The pavilion , which has been completely renovat-ed , has been moved back about 50 feet from the shore to Smithtown boulevard , leaving room for a spacious beach and large park- ing area. E. G. Weiss of Coram Suicide b y Hanging During a brief absence of his wife , Mrs. Anna Weiss , who had gone to the postoffice , Edward Gustave Weiss , aged 60 , hanged himself in the cellar of his home on Old Middle Country road , Coram , Thursday afternoon , ac- cording to police. In notes written by Mr. Weiss , found in the house , police say, he stated that he \ could not stand it any longer , \ referring to a stomach ailment. The tragedy was discovered by Mrs. Weiss pn her return about 2:15 p. m . She notified Brookhaven Town police , and Officers Albert Qua . tt- lander , Wallace ' : Jay and Jatob Bac- zensky responded - . After cutting the rope , they worked over Mr. Weiss for nearly two hours , aided by the first aid squad and inhalator of the Ronkonkoma Fire department. * Death was pronounced at4:05 p. m. by Dr. Walter F. Roettinger of Ron- konkoma. On orders of Coroner Grover A.. Silliman , of Sayville , the body was removed fo the O. B. Davis Funeral home , Port Jefferson. Mr. Weiss leaves . a biothev , Rudolph Weiss of St. James. The funeral service was held from the Davis Funeral home Monday at 2 p. in. followed by interment in St. James.
