During the winter the Red Cross relief work unit , which has been meeting at the fireball , will meet each Wednesday afternoon at different homes in the community. Rudolf Lauturner of New York was with his fapiily on Argyle • avenue over -the week-end, Legion of Suffolk Would Buy Iron Lung A respirator or iron lung would be provided for residents of Suffolk hy the American Legiorr of the coun- ty, under a proposal being studied \by the Suffolk Legion ' s hospital and welfare committee , of which Albex-t Goll of Port Jefferson is chairman. The iron lung, funds for which would be raised by the various Le- gion posts throu ghout the county , was suggested by James Wedick , a mem- ber of the Patchogue post. At pres- ent , acc ording to the Legionnaires , stricken persons in need of respirator treatment have to be taken outside the county because of the lack of such equipment here.
