Mr. Keefer was uninjured. The Selden Fire department com- mittee which is working on plans for ¦ a new firehouse for the present site has deferred its plans for a month. The committee on the p ' ro- posed fire district will soon begin to obtain signatures for a.petition. . Several members of ,the fire de- partment went to New York last Tuesday and visited the New York City Fire school. During the storm last week , Mr. Cook and Mr. Dalton of Tuscale street , Section 7 , notified the high - way department that because of ill- ness in that , section the roads would have to be opened up. The depart- ment responded by promptly sending up the snowplow. Mrs. Peter Panse of Naomi court is confined to her home with a sprain- ed back , received wh«n she fell down the stairs last week.
