The total enrollment of the school at .present is 45 , which is the highest irt several years. Additional pupils are expected before the year is over. Tliey were dressed . in cos- tume and the room was decorated with lighted \jaek-o-l-interns. Re- ireshments were served by Mrs. Shields , president of the Parent- Teacher association . The children also bobbed for apples. LAKE RONKONKOMA SCHOOL , Mrs. : Leonore K. Felber , music teacher , spent -Monday ;of this week , instead of Tuesday at the school . be- cause of- the . Hallowe ' en party hel d yesterday . She will also be at the school next Monday, .because of Election day next Tuesday. The music classes , under Mrs. Pelber ' s direction , are working hard on pre- parations for -an operetta , to be given next spring. They are rais- ing money for costumes and scen- ery. The music club is made up of pupils who had an average of 85 per cent jn music last year. Currently, pupils of the lower grades are re- hearsing an operetta for Christmas , entitled , \The Tpys That . Had to Wait , \ and the upper , grades are re- hearsing \Ye Olde .
