The Nassau County Fire Marshall wu called in to belp investigate the cause of the blaze. Fourteen boats were in the yard at the time, four cabin cru.iSers and ten 17-foot rental craft. Two of the cabin cruiSers bad been sold but not taken from the yard. They were both destroyed and the other two badly damaged. Ten of the rental craft were de- stroyed and the others damaged.
