He was in troduced by Leader Peter C, Kelly. The Senator centered his re marks around County E)tecuiive Eugene H, Nickerson, who also Is seeking a return to office In November. Speno criticized those who have taken the attitude that Nickerson cannot be defeated. He conceded that a person In office has the advantage but declared ‘*W« can, we must and we wiU defeat Nickerson In November.\ His opponent is John Bums, fo r mer supervisor of the Town of Oyster Bay.
