White and Mrs, Hovey Dodge appeal for the out-of~town teachers dismissed by the School Board at the meeting last night. Maintaining that the School Board would have to go out of town to replace them and that the dismissed teachers were in danger of loosing their life teacher's certificates, as they had from two or three years -to serve before they would be qualified, their retention was asked. It being further argued that the Board would not be bound to give them life posi- tions in Lackawanna schools if they were retained.
