Teresa Press/Herald Favorite Tree And the winner is Friends of Freeport who won this year's Favorite Festival Tree con : test. The winning tree was decorated with hats and mittens that will be donated to a local charity. The winning tree, along with 12 other trees were decorated and on dis- play in the lobby of the Freeport Recreation Center during the holiday season. The Village of Freeport and the Freeport Recreation Center thank all the local organiza- tions that participated in this year's event that raised money for the Freeport Toys for Tots Program.
