The community newspaper - the glue that helps hold a community together, and the spur that helps keep it moving forward. Do we have your website address? Has this ever happened to you? She writes your e- mail address on a paper napkin, and later tells you she lost it, rnaybe used it to wipe up a spill before she got a chance to put it in her address book in the computer. Or has this? Someone takes down your website address over the phone and assumes you are a \dot com\ when you are a \dot us\? You get the call that your site can't be found. He wanted to add it to his \favorites\ list. As easy as it often is to contact an e-mail address or search for a website on the computer, well, some- times it's not. That is why a printed e-mail and web- site directory can still come in handy, as long as it is not too unwieldly. Our second annual e-mail and website directory aims to be even more useful to residents in this area. We do not charge for listings from local nonprofit organizations such as PTAs. We do not charge members of the local chamber of commerce. The price for a listing is a mere $10 that those interested can charge on their credit cards if they wish. We ask for the information in writing for the sake of accuracy. Display advertising is also accepted, and this can be an especially good investment for computer- related businesses and services, since this directory is something many people are expected to pull out and save near their computers. You can e-mail your information to us at LMADS@optonline.net, or you can fax it to us at 516-378-0287, or mail it to us at Email Website Directory, L&M Publications, 1840 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY 11566. Please don't put it off too much longer because the book will be closing soon.
