Her lead ership was recognized by President Clinton on June 17 in Washington D C. when the Defense Contracts Management Command. Long Island, was awarded the President's Quality Award and cited as the best office in the Federal Government. The office also received the Com mander in Chiefs Award for Installa tion Excellence on May 1. at the Pentagon. In her current position She manages 286 employees. 1000 plus defense contracts valued at approximately $9 billion. She is a Freeport resident. At left is husband Edward Monroe and Betty Monroe.
