I News Of The Baldwin Ubraiy BALDWIN - - The Baldwin Public Library will show three stjorl films for chWren, pre-school through grade J, on Tuesday, December 29. The films, “Ru fus M. Tty Again,” “ School Eacurslon,” and “ Sea Dream,” will be shown at 10:30 am ahd at 11:30am. ■Attendance is limited to residents of the' Baldwin School District .and those who have . purchased library cards.. *•« “Danny.” a family film, will be shown at the library on Wednes day, December 30, at 10:3Q am and 2:30 pm. Children under six must be with an adult in the afternoon; those.under 12 must be accom panied by an adult in the evening. This is the second year that the menorah has been displayed by the Baldwin Jewish Center through the auspices of Harris Schectman and the courtesy of the M.T.A. BroiAside, Lenox, Meadow. Milbum, Plaza and Steele Schools will bold preliminary contests of their own. Children who attend other schools can participate in the Baldwin Public. Ubrary’s own preliminary contest on Wednes day, February 3. Registration will begin immediately and rules are available at the Children’s Reference Desk. The winners of the preliminary contests held a t the schools and at the libraiy wiU then gather at the Baldwin Public Ubraiy for a Final Contest on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 pm. Trophies, courtesy of Citibank, will be awarded to two finalists; one fromGrades 3 and 4 and one from Grades S and 6.
