Even for those who never m e t ho* she was a friend, for her waimth and love of children o r any one in need was always there just waiting to be applied. 1 first met Sue on a cold d e p r^in g morning following the fire at the Freeport Police Toy project. First on die scene to give a hand, slie had a sunny p eering, ‘‘Hi, I*m Sue Harrison Lee what can I do to help?\\ 1 was to hear these words from Sue on many, many more occasions. No task was too great for her and she was completely reliable. Wesliared many happy evenings over dinner, but never as a purely social affair. Sue always had a new idea to discuss, invariably involving a plan for a charitable organization or school program. It's still difficult for me to realize that 1 shall not Iiave Sue to back me and hear her offer to help, bu t now I feel its my turn to help. Sue left four children, two not yet of school age. Tlieir needs will be great for a long time to come. May 1 ask for your support now? A trust fund is ^ i n g set up in her name and no amount will be too-small to apply to it. Lorraine Robinson Fathers and Boosters Publicity Chairman Mrs. William Walsh Public Relations V.P. Dear Editor: It is with great satisfaction I can report of screening over 350 patients. There were only three suspected cases, which were regardless of what the Democrats do. Mmally, this is beyond belid. This is as low as a candidate can get...and if this is Ae caliber Democrat running in this electicm, then woe betide the public thQr choose to serve. These same Democrats had the opportunity back in April, May and June to ask the liberal Party for their nominati(m.<AU of them signed a pledge NOT to seek or accept the nomination of any other Party....Liberal, Con servative or whatever. Instead they asked the Liberal Party to leave blank spaces on’ dieir referred to th w personal op- thalm o lc^ts fw further testing. Tlie FyMport Uons Club can be proud of ite acldevemeot for Its civic duties in hewing to detect this disease. line....in other words, they asked the Liberal Party to disappear. The L i b ^ l Party homixAted their owh t^ndidates in every instance.:^';Now, 'these same gutless'^ Democrats\ who trere afraid to speak up to thrir own leaders and ask for our nomination, are trying to raid our Party. We are asking the Fair Cam paign Practices Committee to check into this unfair campaign practice. THE LIBERAL PARTY IS NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! Faithful Uberal Party voters will vote mi the Liberal Party line irrespective of how the Democrats try to deceive them. These Liberal voters know how precious independence is....how hard we have fought to preserve this independeiue.... and how hard we will continue to to retain our inde pendence. They also know that the BEST of ALL candidates appear on the Uberal Party line. Liberal Party people are NOT Democrats. Liberals know this....it’s tune Democrats recognized it. Let the Democrats continue to fight amongst themselves....not try to drag the Liberal P arty into ttieir n ^ i.
