The teachers voted Monday, 11/1 to strike Monday 11/8 against the Nassau County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). President Schmidt said the teachers have been working since June 30, 1971 without a contract and that the main issues in the forthcoming strike are class size and teacher salaries.
