LILCO Declares Higher IXvidend Rate On Stock \The Board of Directors of the Long Island Lighiihg'\ Company today (March 30, 1966) declared 8 percent increase in the an nual dividend rate on the com mon stock. This is the eighth in crease in the dividend rate in the past eight years and the tenth increase in the last clev&n years. The new annual cash dividend rate is $1.08 per share, 8^ per share higher than last year and more than double the rate in 19S5. The new quarterly dividend at $0.27 per share will be-paid oh May 1, 1906 to share owners of record April 14, 1960.
