At two meetings in the Village •• Hall, one in the afternoon- and the other at night, dozens of ciw; leaders came to hear local repfe- - sentatives of the service branches praise the Preert>rt blood drive, believed to be the first project of its -type to be sponsored by a . municipal government. April 28lh and 29th have been set as the dates for blood dona tions, and Mayor Robert J. • Sweeney said the-new fire head quarters building would be made available for the two-day period.
