This is a 7 per cent gain from assets reported one year ago, a 91 per cent .gain from assets of five years ago and. a -370 per cent gain In ten years. This Increase in assets mirrors the tremendous expansion of tire savings find loan busl- throughout the country dur- ing the same period. Addressing association membea's at its annual meeting, Mr. William J. Martin, Jr., President of the Association, observed Chat both savings and mortgage loans out standing now exceed $46,000^000. Following Mr. Martin’s report, the directors voted an anticipated annual dividend at the rate of 4 per cent.
