W ith faith in this promise, I do believe t h a t with the a.ssistance of our friends of the Press, we can acquaint our President with this National educational movement, .starting in our community, of which it i.s time we all began to be a bit proud. And I do believe th a t once the President knows of the purposes of Personal Affairs M onth, he will gladly take lime out. In whichever way hl.s schedule be.st permits, to lend hi.s powerful voice and person ality to urge his fellow Americans, during the m o n th of May, to review, their Personal Affairs and to see their doclor, lawyer and other pro- fesional consultants, for such peels as need attention,” conclud ed DfeLlsser. Could you please find a spot in your paper for a word of apprecia tion for a very rare druggist. Last Saturday night my little boy was in a great deal of pain after a tonsil operation. The doctor had left me a prescription but all day long he seemed to be fine. Tiien at 10:30 he started crying with pain. I live in Fieeport and local drug stores li;»d all closed. The Police D e p a rtm e n t gave me the phone num b er of a druggist they said m ight help in an emergency. I called and the druggist although he was answering from his hom e in Roslyn said he would come back and open hLs store in Merrick, he gave me directions and met m« there. Mr. Liebi-eich of the Garfield Pharm acy at 1700 M errick Ave., Merrick, had never sold me so m u ch as a tube of tooth paste but still had the kindness to come back uiid fill a C1.50 prescription. I am sure your readers in M er rick would appreciate knowing w h a t a very dedicated Pharm a c ist they have a t the G a rfield Pharm acy. Very Truly Yours. P a tricia D. Reynold.s.
