She and her husband “Ed\ as- he is affec tionately known were -man:ied In the Transflgui-ation E p i s c o p a l Church by the Rev; Dr. Reginald H. Scott, now rector emeritus. They Have lived in Freeport ever since. The maid of honor at the wed- .ding was Miss Marjorie Steams of Brooklyn, now hto. P r ^ r l c Loeser, of North Haven, Conn.-John Bh-ess, then and still Of Baldwin, was. best mank Mr. Buckley has been in the boat selling business for ten yeus. Prior to th a t he was a newspaper photographer. Besides being patron of the 0 £ R ., he Is president of the Jones Beach Fish and Game Club. Inc. Park, mother of Belle Miller. With It were the skirt and cape which were part of Mrs. Ready’s trousseau. Ptorence App, Worthy Matron of Casseopia Chapter, contributed the gown worn by her husband's aunt 63 years ago. Modeling the beauti fully hand embroidered satin gown was Cadealla Shea. The bride, Mary Rapf, Was married hi 1895 in St. Mathew’s Angellcan L u t h e r a n Church, the oldest in the United States. Zt was a large wedding with ‘ ........... .worn and-ihadeiby her.own mother, ^^^TO h a ri^ Shea; a t a small home wefiding.in 1905. ' Mamie Ljons wore a heavy black crepe dress embroidered in silver beads which made it so heavy It could' never be hung up. This was worn ait her sister’s-in-law wedding in-1907. Rose Hamden’s wedding gown was worn by her daughter Jessie Hellend. Mra. Hamden was married in 1907--at 17 Pearsall ave. by the Hev. Mr. Ketcham of the First Presbyterian Church. Ruth Munsell wore the satin gown In which ^ e was married on June 16,1935 a t the First Baptist Church. R u th ' Nelson also modeled her own lace wedding gown. Her wed ding was an event of Thanksgiving Day, 1938. in the Flushing Luther-, an Church of the Messiah. The gown woni'at h e r wedding in • l94-P-4»~~Sti—Albans—Preabyterlan- - Church was modeled by Mildred Ley.' The Rev. Mr. Wallace who of ficiated at the wedding is now a resident of Freeport. Virginia Dougan modeled the white satin gown worn by Ruth Cruger at her marriage to Charles Wurst in Glendale- in 1942. The wedding took place a t the Lutheran Chin-ch of the Redeemer with the Rev. P. W. Abel officiating. • On Sept. 10th, 1950,'Berlho Buff of Merrick became 'the bride of Ralph Koos of AmltyvlUe. The bridal gown and those of the atr ro^cblored maid o f ' honor gown and completing the party little Kathle Schilling wore a flower girl’,; dress ot turquoise net which.
