Civics Ask Observance Of Snow Removal Rule Sidewalks should- be cleared of snow within 24 hours after snow stnps falling. Homeowners or oc cupants are urged to obey this village ordinance, according to . a resolution adopted Friday night by 'the Northeast Civic Association at y-F,W. Hall. When shoveling snow, it is Im portant'to avoid covering fire hyr drants or making them bore dif ficult to see. The ordinance re quiring th a t walls be cleared ap plies to vacant stores as well as occupied ones. The civic group simply urged co operation, but a fine up to $100 can be Imposed after police action.
