MeichanU Lcog \ Target For Fond Raisers In organising the United Pund the fact th&t business in the com munity is the constant target for fund raisers and campaign appeals, prompted the officers of the Pund to Include among its board of di rectors representatives of business and Industry in Freeport. In this way another very Important segment of our community life has become an active participant In the United Fund. Both the President, Edore K. Herschenfeld, and Public Relations Chairman. Alexander A, Wassel are members of the United Pund Board of Blrectors. In addition, Mr. Wassel -is Chairman of the Chain Store Division. Many Freeport merchants, who are also residents of the viJU^e, are serving as District Captains or volunteer workers in the campaign.
