Will Present Recital Friday Night McIntosh Music School Sponsors Appearance Of Youthful Musician The Edith : Mcintdsh ‘Sihool of Music, 48 Hillside avenue, Rockville , Centre, will present Vincent Lent!, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lent! of 93 Fountain avenue. Rockville Centre, this Friday evening, Sep tember 1. at 8:30 o-'elock. A June graduate of South Side High School. Vincent has been student, of the Edith McIntosh School of Music for 12 years. He has been a pupil of Irma Harter in piano, and has studied theory throughout his course. He added the study of organ with Miss M c lnto^ two years ago, and has coached with Ernesto Berumen. Concert pianist for .several years. The young artist has earned enviable reputation through his many concert appearances on Long Lsland and In New York. His most receiit appearance was in Muslcale under the direction of Ernesto Beru men at the Carl Fischer concert Hall in New York In June. An out- standir^ performance was his play ing of the Grieg Piano Concerto with the South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Con ductor Howard Lee Koch, as first prize winner in the annual contest of the orchestra, at Bay Shore in March. Vincent Lenti’s program thi-s Fri day will include the Pathetlque Sonata by Beethoven, a group of Chopin solos and the first move ment of the Grieg Plano Coitcerta, with Lma Harter playing the oj-- chestra part at Che second piano.
