A new project of the Freeport Adult Education Is a class for training Girl Scout leaders, taught by Mrs. W illiam J.*Martin. Jr.. who took the course in leadership training last year. Mys. Martin is seated at the right while Mrs. Alan Kellock, o n e of her first pupils, sits at the right. Clarence Genner. head of the adult education program in Freeport schools stands in the center. In a letter of appeal mailed to business men. Mayor William F. Glacken, who is more than a nom i nal honorary campaign chairman, mentioned the fact that Scouting officials estim ated it takes $6.72 for every Girl Scout for a year.
