The cam p a ign started Sunday afternoon when the leaders and canvassers were th e guests of Mr. and Mrs. W illiam J. Martin, Sr., at a tea in their hom e In M assa- pequa. Mrs. Martin, the president, gave a pep talk in which she said the goal of 1,000, the capacity of the Freeport High School audi torium. where the concerts are given, m u st be reached to provide a high quality o f talent for the concerts. Mrs. Arnold E. Sylvester, general campaign chairman, also spoke. Several representatives were pres ent from adjacent communities where memberships also are being sought.
