Miss Pearson Marks Her 80th Birthday Double Celebration Held At South Nassati Honors * Retired Superintendent South _ Nassau Communities Hos- pital's staff and friends took time out on Friday, for a double cele- bration—the 80bh birthday of Miss Mary Pearson, Superintendent Em- eritus of the Oceanside hospital, and the, first milestone of one-year- old Mary Pearson Ihgenito. Miss Pearson's namesake made her debut last year on the same day the hospital's leading lady was being 1 feted on the occasion of her 79th 'birthday. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ingenito of 53 Woods avenue, Rockville Centre. Members of the hospital staff, its Board of Directors and presidents of its auxiliaries, as well as many of Miss Pearson's personal friends, gathered from 2 to 5 p.m. for a lawn party honoring both celebrants. By a strange coincidence, the in- fant's father arid his 'brother, Jo- seph Ingenito, ware t-he first pair of twins 'born at the hospital where\ Miss Pearson served as superinten- dent for its first 23 years. In recognition of Miss Pearson's long and faithful service to the community, a proposed 80-bed ob- stetrics department for the hospital will be called \The Mary Pearson Maternity Wing.\ Warns Senior Citizens THURSDAY, JULY 17 1952 frequent • bathing and prolonged baths.
