The Standard Bitulithis Co., of Manhattan, was low with $11,460. The other bids were as follows: Gifford Construc- tion Co.. Inc., Great Neck, $12,800; George W. Sammis, $12,965, and Pellicio Bros., $13,503.70. Bids were referred to Village Engineer Herbert W. Wood. Bids were received from nine cor- porations on a contract for supply- ing 12,000 gallons of oil with which to lubricate the Diesel engins in the power house. They range from 27 cents a gallon to 54 cents. The bidders were Galena Division, Free- dom Valvoline Oil Co., of Cincin- nati; Gull Refining Co., Colonial Beacon Oil Co., Sinclair Refining o., Texns Oil Co., the Socony- Vacunm Oil Co., inc., the Crown, ientral Petroleum Corp., California Petroleum Distributors and the ity Service Oil Co.
