CONTEST RULES The Master and Miss Hardscrabble Contest is open to children, both boys and girls, residing in the Farmingdale or surrounding areas, between the ages of 4 and 12 years, excepting children of employees of the Post and participating member merchants. Cooperating merchants will issue votes with each purchase. Ballots will be marked with their vote value by the merchants. On April 26 the twenty highest vote getters [10 boys and 10 girls] will become finalists. You write In the name of the contestant you're voting for and deposit ballot in ballot box at the Farmingdale library. Highest number of Votes will determine winners and runner-ups. Right is reserved to reject any entry without stating the reason for doing so.
