JOSEPHINE BARANELLO , 75 , of Medford died Tuesday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital , Patchogue. Mrs. Baranello is survived by three sons : Dominick of Blue Point , New York State and Suffolk County Democratic chairman , Angelo of Medfor d and Donato of Yaphank; two daughters , Mrs. Letizia DeVeau of Hicksville , Ohio , and Mrs. Emily Germano of Lake Ronkonkoma ; 16 grandchildren; three sisters : Jennie Regalmuto of Bellpor t , Margaret Perry of Patchogue and Angelina O'Connell of East Patchogue; two brothers , Anthony and James Belmonte of East Patchogue and Blue Point , respectively; and by numerous nieces and nephews . The family received visitors Tuesday evening and yesterday afternoon and evening at the James B. McManus Funeral Home , Medford , and they will be welcomed today from 2-4:30 and 7-9 : 30 p.m. The Rev . Peter Chiara will be celebrant at Mass to be offered tomorro w morning at 10 o ' clock at St. Sylvester ' s R.C. Church , Medford , with in- terment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram. ANNE E. KANE , 73 , died Saturday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Kane was born in Brooklyn and had been a Pat- chogue resident since 1951. She was a member of the Patchogue Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include one son , Christopher of Patchogue; three daughters : Anne E. Rodgers of Connecticut , Helen A. Stribling of Florida and Margaret T. Palermo of East Patchogue; and 16 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Her husband , Christopher , predeceased her in 1971. Wake Prayers were conducted Tuesday evening at Lucia Bros. Funeral Home , Patchogue. Mass of Christian Burial was read yesterday at St. Joseph the Worker R.C. Church , East Patchogue , followed by in- terment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram. MARJORIE GONZALEZ , 88 , of Mastic Beach died Thursday. Mrs. Gonzalez has been a resident ef Mastic Beach for over 40 years , coming from California where she had been in several silent movies and was an actress on stage . Services were held Sunday evening at Herrmann ' s Funeral Home , Inc., Center Moriches , officiated by the Rev . Gordon G. Dickson of the East Moriches Presbyterian Church. Private cremation took place on Monday at Washington Memorial Park , Coram. MABEL WILLIAMS , 75 , of Center Moriches died Thursday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She is survived by one grand- son , Vernon Williams , and by many friends of the Bay Area. Wake Prayers were offered Sunday evening at Herrmann ' s Funeral Home , Inc., Center Moriches. MARIE MILLS JAMIESON , 89, a member of one of Long Island ' s oldest families and a longtime residen t of Patchogue , died November 1 in Louisiana. Born in Patchogue , Mrs. Jamieson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Mills. Her father was a partner in the Hammond-Mills store which once occupied the southeast corner of Patchogue ' s Four Corners. She resided in Patchogue until shortly after the death of her husband , William Harry Jamieson , in 1974 , when she moved to the home of her son-in- law and daughter , Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen in River Ridge , La. Mrs. Jamieson was a direc t descendant of Rober t and Mary Hawkins , who came over from England in \The Elizabeth and Ann \ , the third ship to reach New England and landed at Charlestown , Mass. She was active for many years in the Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter of the Daugh ters of the Am erican Revolution , was a 75-year member of the Congregational Church of Pat- chogue , and a mem b er of Pat- chogue Sorosis. Her ancestors who assisted in establishing American in- dependence were Alexander Hawkins , born in South Setauket in 1713 , and Isaac Mills , Jr., born in Smithtown in 1727. Survivors include a daughter , Louise Allen of River Ridge , La.; three sons , David of Great Falls , Mont., William H., Jr., of Napa , Calif. , and Robert of Shoreham ; and a brother , Harr y Mills of Centereach . Another daughter , Marjorie Moog, predeceased Mrs. Jamieson in 1965. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren . WILLIAM J. BETHEL , 50 , of Mastic Beach died Thursday in Elmhurst General Hospital , Queens. Mr. Bethel was born Jul y 28 , 1928 , and was employed as a sheet metal worker. He is survived by his wife, Lois ; three children : William , Jr., Susan Anne and Carolyn Ann ; his mother , Helen ; two sisters , Delphine Bethel and Patricia Dineen ; and by two brothers , Ronald and John. A prayer service was held Friday evening at Rom a Funeral Hom e , Inc., Shirley. A Mass of Christian Burial was read Saturday morning in St. Jude ' s R.C. Church , Mastic Beach , after which interment took place in Washington Memorial Park , Coram. EDNA HESTNES , 70 , of Mastic died Monday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital , Patchogue. Mrs. Hestnes was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 28 , 1908 and had lived in the area for the past five years. She is survived by her husband , Arthur ; two sons , John of Penn- sylvania and Arthur of Staten Island ; a daughter . Mrs . Susan Larsen of Mastic ; a brother , James Johnson , and a sister , Mrs. Marion Zambai , both of Florida ; and by five grand- children. Services were held yesterday with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, East Moriches , of- ficiated by Pastor Ronald Smith. Arrangements were by Sin- nickson ' s Moriches Funeral Home , Inc., Center ivloriches. CLIFFOR D WES LEY KEELING , SR., of Mastic Beach died Tuesday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital , Patchogue Mr. Keeling was a retired emp loyee of the New York City Departmen t of Sanitation . A native of Nebraska , Mr. Abbott had resided in Kansas , California , Arkansas and East Patchogue prior to moving to Kansas a yea r ago. He is survived by two daughters , Kay Gradilon e of East Patchogue and Sue Steinfort of Junction City , Kan.; two sons , Richard of Norman , Ark., and Max of Osawatomie , Kan.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren ; a sister , Marie Westerman of Hayword , Cal.; and by two brothers , Murle of Wichita , Kan., and Clifford of Las Vegas. Nev . He was predeceased by his wife and two sisters. The Rev. Dave Irwin officiated at services held October 27 at the Eddy-Birchard Chapel in Osawatomie. Interment took place in Glendale , Cal. JOHN M C C ARTHY , 82 , of Mastic died last Tuesday in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Mr. McCarthy was a retired employee of the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene .
