SARAH GREEN , 76 , of 177 River Avenue , Patchogue , died Saturday at the Ursuline Nursing Home , Oakdale . She was bora in East Patchogue and was a Hie . resident of this area. WALTERS , 59 , of 295 Oak Street , Patchogue , died Saturday at Reldy ' s Tavern , 298 East Main Street , Patchogue. Born in Brentwood , he had been a Patchogue resident for the past SO years. He was a manager at Reldy ' s Tavern. Mr. Walters was a member of Engine Company No. 1 of the Patchogue Fire De- partment , a member of the Exempt Firemen ' s Association of Patchogue and an honorary mem- ber of Amvets Patchogue Post 111. Fifth Precinct Patrolman James Tate administered oxygen to Mr. Walters at the tavern. Earlier , Richard Tafe had tried to revive Mr. Walters with mouth, -to-mouth respiration. Goldfein , 44 , owne r and operato r of the Maple Leaf Photo Service at his home at 5 Jones Street , North Patchogue , died unexpectedly while cover- ing an Adelphi Suffolk College testimonial dinner honoring As- semblyman Perry B. Duryea at the Huntington Town House last Thursday night. A reside nt of the area for mo re than 15 years . Bill was a free lance photographer,, servicing area newspapers and the Suffolk County Republican Committee; he did general photographic work; was the official photo- grapher of the Town of Brook- haven and also a photographer for the wire services. Mr . Goldfein was stricken at about 8:15 p.m. as the dinner: was getting u nder way. Artifi- cial resuscitation was attempted until oxygen arrived , but he failed to respond. He was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 9;25 p.m. Born In New York City, Mr. Goldfein starte d Maple Leaf Photo Service six years ago , and quickly became one of the busiest photographers In Suffolk. But he still had time for civic and school affairs. M- . Goldfeinwas a captain in the Island Marine Tra ining Corps and was a member of the North Patchogue Civic Association. A veteran of the Canadian Army, he was wounded while serving in the European Theatre ot War and was decorated. He Is survived by his wife , Evelyn; two daughters , Susan and Gail; a son , Garry, all of North Patchogue , a sister , Rose ot Forest Hills , and his mother , Mrs. Charles Goldfein of the Bronx. The new Nurse Aide program has added another group of train- ed people to the roster of as- sistants In the Health Service Agencies. Brookhaven Memorial Hospital , In affiliation with the Board of Cooperative educa- tional Services of the Second Supervisory District and the local New York State Employ- ment Service , graduated a new class of nurse aides Tuesday. A schedule of 12 classes which will be in operation until Janu- ary 1966 , ls currently planned. A total of 150 nurse aides are to be trained. The Nurse Aide program has been conducting classes at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital since October 1963. Since that time about 75 of these trainees have been employed In hospitals , nursing homes and nursery s chools and state mental hospi- tals. They have been called an outstanding success. The following trainees receiv- ed their completion certificates at Tuesday ' s ceremony: Delorls Belford , Charlotte Hamemick , ' Helen Malloy, Sally A . County Judge Thomas M. Stark imposed the sentence on Henry Oosiak , 24 , of South Street , Man- orville. Dosiak and Donald James Johnson , 25 , formerly of Patchogue , held up the Car- vel Ice Cream stand on West Main Street , R iverhead , last May 16 and escaped with $300. They were caught a day later by State Police on descriptions , and a partial license plate supplied by their victims. Johnson received a 2 1/2-to- 5-year term December 38.
