EP Youth , 18 , Faces Auto Theft Charg e Aa i 8-yeai^Id E« at Patchogue youth is scheduled to appear today at 9:30 a.m. in First DisGrtct Court , Commack , on a charge of stealing an auto Saturtleyfroman East Patchogue apartment IwiW- ing* Tbe defendant , Peter Wall , of 309 Robinson Avenue , woo *waa held in lieu of $500 bail for his court appearance , was appre- hended by Fifth Precinct Patrol- man Richard Reichert while the officer was on patrol. Police said young Wall was unable to show c driver ' s license or registration for the vehicle he was driving, and was brought to the prectact headquarters in Patchogue. The youth was questioned by Fifth Squad Det. Edward - Mayer. According to police , the auto, which young Wall was driving, is owned by Barbara Swisher of 309 Robinson Avenue , who had not known her car was missing. Police reported that the youth had had the job of washing cars $t -the Presidential Apartments ' building, and had had duplicate car keys made. With these keys , police said , the defendant had taken various autos for a drive. IR Bank Group Asks Extension To Raise Cash LAKE RONKONKOMA Adam W. Eberhardt , president of the organizational committee planning to establish here tha Ex- pressway Federal Savings and .Loan Association , said the com- .mtttee has applied for an exten- sion cf time ia which to raise the $L million In savings accounts required by the Federal Home Loan Bank before the bank can op- erate. \I am confident that we will receive the extension , \ said Mr. Eberhardt Monday. He said the committee bed not been able to raise the $1 million by Friday. He declined to say how much more must be raised before the minimum figure is reached. Andrew Dunn , 10 , of 83 Lexington Drive , Shirley, Injured December 28 when the bicycle he was riding was bit by a car , was discharged Friday to Ms home. And two-year-old Pat- ride Martins of 310 . Whittier Drive , injured when the car in which she was riding was in collision with a Long Island Rail Road train December 22 in Mas- tic , was seat home from the hospital December 27. Adelphi Ups Room , Board Tuition Fees GARDEN CITY - The board of trustees of Adslphl University has approved an increase in tuition 8Bd room and board fees , effective June 1, Wallace S. Girling, chairman of the board , announced. The tuition will be raised to $44 per credit for undergraduate students aad to $47 per cradle for graduates. Beginning ia the Fall of the 1965 academic year , the room and board tee will be raised from $1, 000 to $1 , 100 per year. The tuition increase will aico apply at the univer- sity ' s branch institution , Adel- phi Suffolk College , in Oakdale. However , with the raise in tuition , there will be a reduction ln university foes. For the grad- uate student taking seven credit hours or less , the fee will ba reduced from $30 to $20 per semester. The fee for students enrolled in the division of gen- eral studios for sevea credit hours or less ' will be reduced from $30 to $15 par semester. All other fees remalnuachtaged.
