NOTES ON NUPTIALS KAISER—SIDOROWICZ Miss Doris Marie Sidorowicz. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sidorowicz of Farm to Market Road , Farmingville , became the bride of Ensign Theodore Joseph Kaiser , III , son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Josep h Kaiser , Jr., of 17 Ceda r St., Babylon , at the St. Hugh' s R. C. Church. Huntington at 1- noon Novmber 11. The Rev. John Casey o fficiated before the altar decorated with bouquets of white flowers. The bride, who was escorted to the altar b y her father , wore a floor-length gown of peau de soie with a bouffant skirt and a chapel train. The long-sleeved fitted bod- ice was of imported Chantilly lace and the skirt was enhanced by panels of Chantilly lace. Her luii- length veil of French illusion , trimmed with Chantilly lace , fell from n cap studded with seed pearls. She carried a cascade bou- quet of white orchids and stephan- otis. Miss Helen Drogos of East Northport was the maid-of- honor. She wore an emerald green peau de soie taffeta bouffant floor- length dress with a fitted bodice , cap sleeves and a scoop neckline. Her headpiece was a pillbox cov- ered with the same material and adorned with rosebuds. She carried a cascade of harvest-hued standard chrysanthemums and pompons. The bridesmaids were Miss Car- ol Kaiser of Babylon , sister of the bridegroom , Miss Georgina Gru- ner of East Northport and Miss Veronica Wojcik of Huntington. They wore gowns of apricot peau de soie taffeta styled like that of the maid-of-honor and carried cascade bouquets of standard chrysanthemums and pompons also in the harvest colors but of a dif- ferent hue. Karin Wojek of Green- lawn was junior bridesmaid. She wore the same ensemble as the bridesmaids. William Mc Gowan of Babylon served as best man. Ushers were Joseph Sidorowicz of Lake Grove , John Drogos of East Northport , John Smith of Huntington , Ed- ward Wojcik of Greenlawn and Frederick Larson of Huntington. Lawrence Sidorowicz served as ring bearer. Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the North- port American Legion Hall. North- port , where the Polkateers , a six- piece Polish band , supplied the music. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Josep h Kaiser , III , will reside in Coronado , Calif. The bride is a graduate of St. Dominic s High School in Oyster Bay and of the New York Found- ling Hospital School of Baby Nursing. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Babylon Hig h School and of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in King ' s Point. He is presently serving in the Navy. Arthur Kane officiated in the presence of about 250 guests. The altar was decorated with white chrysanthe- mums. Given in marriage by her bro- ther , Joseph Donnelly, the bride wore a full-length gown of white lace over taffeta. Her fingertip veil was held by a seed pearl crown and she carried white or- chids , lily-of-the-valley and step- hanotis on a missal. Mrs. Frances Entwistle of Ocean- side was matron-of-honor. She wore a full-length gown of emer- ald green peau-satin. On her hair she wore a matching peau-satin rose with a veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow chry- santhemums. Miss Kathleen Donnelly and Miss Nancy Donnelly of Long Beach were the junior bridesmaids. They wore gold-colored peau-satin gown s , and a matching peau-satin rose on their hair. Iney carried old-fashioned bouquets oi* rust cnrysanuiemums. Robert Cullum of East Patch- ogue was best man. The ushers were Frank K. Zimmerman of Patchogue and Gabriel Lucas of Selden. Mr. and Mrs. Cullum left for a honeymoon at the Elbow Beach Hotel in Bermuda. They are now residing in their home in East Patchogue. The Dride is a gra d uate of Long- Beach High School and was for- merly associated with Holt , Rine- hart and Winston , Inc., publishers. Chanukah Latkes (Potato Pancakes) 2 pounds potatoes 2 eggs ] /4 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons bread crumbs 1 onion Grate potatoes and onion. Beat eggs and mix with potatoes. Add all other ingredients. Mix well. Dron by spoonfuls on a hot , well greased frying pan. Fry until both sides are brown. Serve with apple sauce or sour cream.
