The bride is a graduate of Cen- tenary College for Women , and the bridegroom graduated from Sayville Hig h School and is now in his third yea r at State Univer- sity College of Education at New Paltz. McDonald of Deer Road , Ronkon- koma , and Bruce Allen Baker , son if Mr. and Mrs. Roland Baker of Edward Street , Patchogue , were uarried at 3:30 p. m. Saturday in Hol y Cross Lutheran Church , Lake Ronkonkoma. The Rev. Wil- liam Gotwald officiated at the double ring ceremony. The church was decoiated with white flowers md the biidal music was p layed by the church organist , Richard Benson. The bride , who was escorted to the altar by her father , wore a floor-length gown of peau de soie. The bodice was fitted and had a scoop neckline trimmed with Alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls and sequins . The -leeves were three-quai ter length with detailed points inset at the shoulder line. The bouffant skirt had a chapel train and a side drape from tho left waist to the center back. The pattern of Alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls and sequins was re- peated on the skirt. Her three- tiered elbow-length veil of French irlusion was hand-rolled and fell from a tiara of pearl and crystal witb sunburst points. She carried a cascade bouquet of camellias , orchids and babv ' s breath. Miss Ann Mary McDonald at- tended her sister as maid-of- honor , wearing a gown of mint green peau de soie. The bodice was fitted with a scoop neckline and short cap sleeves and had a pleated cummerbund of dark tones of green forming throe panels at the center back falling over the bouffant skirt. Her headpiece was a bow of matching peau de soie with illusion \ oiling. She carried a cascade bouquet of bronze chry- santhemums. Miss Frances Rerna of Glen Oaks and Miss Dolores Straacke of Hunting ton were bridesmaids. They wore gowns of crushed orange de soie st y led like that of the maid-of-honor and carried the same flowers. Susan Cashmore of Ronkon- koma was the flower g irl. Her dress was made of mint green peau do >oie and was a miniature copy of the bride ' s attendants. She had a matching bow on her head and carried a small bouquet of bronze chrvsanthemums. Roland Baker , Jr., of Florida , a brother of the bridegroom , was best man. Salvatore Perna of Lake Ronkonkoma and George Weidner of St. James were the ushers. Following the ceremony, a re- ception was held at the Bavarian Inn in Lake Ronkonkoma. After their wedding tri p to the Pocono Mountains , Mr. and Mrs. Baker will reside on Browns Road in Nesconset. Miss Eileen Murray of Lake Ronkonkoma was her sister ' s maid-of-honor. Her gown was shiimp colored silk organza , bal- lerina-length with a bell shaped skirt. Her headpiece was a net hat to match her gown and she carried a bouquet of lilac colored chrysanthemums. Newell Cross of Albany was best man. Ushers were Edward Masin of Lake Ronkonkoma , uncle of the bride , and George Barrett of Lake Ronkonkoma. A reception was held for about 45 relatives and friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bon- hote in Farmingville. The couple left on a week' s honeymoon to Boston , Mass., and upon their return will reside in Rochester. The b \lde is a graduate of Mon- roe Hig l School , Rochester , and is emplo yed with Graybar Elec- trical Supply, Rochester. Peter Berg of Farming- ville and Misses Diane Roos of Smithtown and Linda Katonica of Holbrook , were the bridesmaids. They wore burnt orange chiffon gowns with matching accessories and carried bouquets of mint green carnations. The Rev. Lawrence Heuchert of Smithtown was the best man , and ushers were Donald Faas and John Collins of St. James and Morty Sherman of Islip. Following- the ceremony a re- ception for 100 guests was held at Bronco Charlie ' s Restaurant in Oakdale. The coup le are residing on Smith Avenue , Holbrook . following a wedding trip to Canada. Blue Point , became the bride of Michael Tritsch , son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Tritsch of 219 Gerritsen Avenue , Baypoi% at 2 p. m. Saturday in Our Lad y of the Snow R. C. Church , Blue Point. The Rev. Francis Nuss officiated at the cei'emony before an altar decorated with bouquets of white gladioli and mixed flowers. Mrs. Marguerite Romaine played the w edding marches and accompanied Mrs. Irene Farrell who sang \Ave Maria. \ Given in marriage by her fa- ther , the bride wore a princess style floor-length gown of white peau de soie. The bodice was of Alencon lace re-embroidered with iiidescent sequins and pearls and had a round neckline , and long sleeves which came to a point on the top of the hand. Her full skirt had Alencon lace appliques on the front and the back termi- nated into a full chapel train. Her six-tiered French illusion fingertip veil was held in place by a high crystal and rhinestone crown. She carried a cascade bouquet of , ste- phanotis and fugi chrysanthemums with an orchid center. Miss Betty Anne Reynolds of Merrick , a cousin of the bride , was the maid-of-honor. She wore a yellow organza waltz-length gown with daisy appliques on the skirt. The bodice was also app li qued and was made with a boat neckline and cap sleeves. She wore a pic- ture hat to match and carried a cascade bouquet of yellow daisies and ivy. Misses Alvina E. Nagle and Su- zanne Levermann , both of Patch- ogue were the bridesmaids. Miss Leverman ' s gown was in pale green and Miss Nagle ' s was in lavender , both were made the same style as the maid-of-honor ' s. They carried cascade bouquets of daisies to match their gowns and ivy. Peter A. Tritsch of Bayport , brother of the bridegroom was best man. The ushers were Alfred J. Sweeney of Donamara , Leo Mulderi g of Patchogue and Donald Packham of Sayville. At 3 p. m. a reception for 75 guests was held at Land' s End in Sayville. Buddy Wagner and his orchestra supp lied music for danc- ing. The coup le left by BOAC for a week' s honeymoon in Nassau in the Bahamas and upon their re- turn will reside in North Syracuse. The bride attended Bayport High School and was secretary for the Suffolk Tire Company, Inc., in Bay Shore. The bridegroom attended Say- ville High School and is complet- ing 4^2 years in the Air Force at Hancock Air Force Base in Syracuse. FIORVANTE—TAYLOR Miss Jane Elizabeth Taylor , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest J. Taylor of 143 Orchid Drive , Mastic Beach , became the bride of Frank Fiorvante , Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Fiorvante , Sr.. of 419 Canaan Avenue , Farming- ville , in a late Summ' -i wedding at 4 p. m. Sunday in St. Jude ' s R. C. Church , Mastic Beach. Of- ficiating at the nuptial mass were Monsignor James Walsh of the Church of the Resurrection of Manhattan , the Rev. James Der- renbacher of St. Joseph' s Church Manhatta n , and the Rev. Edward Dugan of the Church of the Re- surrection of Manhattan , an uncle of the bride. The double ring cere- mony was performed before the altar banked with baskets of flowers. Given in marriage by he* father , the bride was attired in a floor-length bouffant gown of white Chantilly lace with a scall- oped hemline sweeping in the back to a chapel-length train , over a hooped underskirt of silk taffeta. The gown , fashioned with long sleeves that buttoned at the wrist , was softl y draped at the Sabrina neckline and buttoned from shoulder to waist , and the full skirt featured shirred panels of peau de soie from waist to hemline. Mother of pearl paillets and seed pearls sparkled at the neck and hemline. A small coro- net of mother of pearl pail- lets and seed pearls held in place the bride ' s fingerti p veil of tulle illusion , whose scalloped hem of Chantilly lace also was embroider- ed with paillets and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and step hanotis with a removable double white orchid center. Miss Barbara Taylor of Mastic Beach ,, a sister of the bride , was maid-of-honor. She wore a sun- shine maize floor-length gown of silk organza over a hooped under- skirt. The gown was sleeveless and the fitted bodice had a draped and shirred neckline , the full skirt sweeping around in back to form , a bowed sash trimmed with yellow roses. Her small matching headpiece , had a small face veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of emerald green baby chrysanthemums. Bridesmaids were the Misses Judith and Annette Mezzapelle of Mastic Beach , Miss Joyce Jean- nette of Shirley and Miss Pauline Audet of Shirley. Each was at- tired in a gown and headpiece identical in style to that of the maid-of-honor , but of a deep em- erald tone , and their cascade bou- quets were yellow baby chrysan- themums. Miss Barbara Fiorvante , a niece of the bridegroom , was flower girl. She wore a floor- length gown of sunshine maize silk organza , fashioned with a round neckline and cap sleeves , the full skirt of the gown sweep- ing around in back to form a shirred panel which was decorated with small yellow roses. She wore a smlall matching headpiece. Her bouquet was a nosegay of eme- rald green baby chysanthemums. Frank Fiorvante , a nephew of the bridegroom , was ring bearer and he carried the matching wed- ding rings upon a small white satin pillow. Best man was Lawrence Fior- vante of Port Jefferson , a brother of the bridegroom and ushers were Jack Fiorvante of Lake Ron- konkoma and John Fiorvante of Centereach , both brothers of the bridegroom , Paul Settimo of Sel- den , Anthony Levique of Hol- brook. James Taylor , brother of the bride , was junior usher. A reception for 200 guests was held at 6 p. m. at the Suffolk County Republican Club in Blue Point , where a chicken dinner was served. Music for dancing was supp lied by Peter Mezzapelle and his Mello-Dees. Following a two-week motor trip to upstate New York , Mr. and Mrs. Fiorvante , J r., will reside on Parkwood Drive in Mastic Beach. The bride is a graduate of Wil- liam Floyd Hig h School , class of '60 , and is presently emp loyed as a secretary at the Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School.
