Chief Francis Pendl proudly led his .i Firemen before the ad miring spectators. Techniques in smothering fires and mourth-to-mouth breathing were vividly de monstrated. The children were treated to Walt Disney’s fire and accident prevention cartoons. They really shook the house with their shreiks of laughter but as one fireman said, “they are learning about fire pre- Open House said “a lot of people worked hard to put on this show and we owe them a big vote of thanks.” Bethpage can truly be proud of its fine Fire Department. The town board had held a public hearing on the garden apartment applica tion in June and since no protects were lodged ap p r o v a l was granted.
