Mr. Cleveland was chairman and counsel of the commit- tee. At the meeting, which was pre- sided over by Paul Morton, president of the Equitable Assurance society, acting as temporary chairman, no ac- tion was taken with reference to se- lecting Mr. Cleveland's successor as chairman and counsel.
