Mrs. Richard Bennett and grandson o Glen Smail, visited at Mrs. Than Boying- ton last week. Mr. and Mrs. Than Boyington motored out to Lisbon last week to visit friends and relatives. Mrs. L. F. Thayer is enjoying a visit from her sister, Mrs. Robert Elliott, of Los Angeles, California. Little Miss Beryl Goldthorpe, who has been visiting Miss May Goldthorpe at the Sny.ler Hous? for two weeks, returned to her home in Canada this week. Mrs. Amanda Mclntosh visited rela- tives and friends in Gouverneur for a few days this week.. Mr. and Mrs. Popple with their guests, Mr. and Mrs Mills of Brooklyn, with Miss Gertrude Flight spent a few days at Alexandra Bay. Mrs. Charles Morris of Iowa, is visit- ing at her brother's, G. N. Popple. Mrs. Terwilliger is visiting her relatives in Binghamton, N. Y. Miss Irene Robertson, who was taken ill with appendicitis, was taken to the City Hospital Wednesday evening to un- dergo an operation. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Richardson, Lowville, last week. Mrs. Richardson was formerly Miss Sarah Bell of this place. Elmer Best arrived in town Thursday. Mrs. Eliza Feterleigh has returned after a couple of weeks visit with her son Charles in Syracuse. Mrs. Eliza Smith and granddaughter are visiting Mrs. Smith's son Edward in Sterlingville this week. Mr. Harold Reidell was a caller on friends in town Sunday evening. Miss Isabella Sloan and Miss Christina LaBarge were entertained Sunday at Perry Howe's. Mrs. C. E. Hastings and Mrs. A. L. Ellsworth, were callers in Millville yes- terday. Mrs. J. M. Wardell of Tracy, Minn., arrived in Town Friday noon, and will spend some time in this section visiting the relatives of her late husband. At present, she will be the guest of her sister- in-law, Miss Jane Wardell. WATCH LOST. A gold watch, ladies size, with short leather fob with lettei \H\ on fob, was lost in Heuvelcon.
