The gift of the chapter to Sister Evans, was a silver berry spoon which was pre- sented by Carlos S. Blood. Rev. C. E. Hastings and Rev. F. R. Griffiths, were honored guests of the chapter. One petition was received. LOCAL NEWS. m T The Annual Memorial Services will be held in the M. E. Church next Sunday 10:45 a. m. The Veterans of the late war and-the Boy Scouts will sit in a body. Sermon by the Pastor Rev. C. E. Hast ing§. In the evening the Pastor will speak on Conditions in Mexico, past and present. Everybody come. Mrs. Jane Niles returned to her home in Renssejaer falls, Tuesday after spend- ing it few days with her sister, Mrs. Sarah Gray. \\\' Alva Martin, who returned from Los- Angels, Calif., last week, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Won. Martin, Tuesday morning, May 19th. Funeral services were held from the house Thursday afternoon-2 o'clock. Burial was made in Heuvelton cemetery. ' Mrs. W. L.
