At a term of the County Court at-Albion yestei day, Jerome Blown of Barre, formerly night operator a,t the. Central depot at this station,- pleaded guilty to the charge of r<3h>- bing #16; railroad company' of §449.f36. On account of the young nian*s previous good record, also the fact that 8 complete restoration of the stolen money had been made, sentence was suspended by the •court. - • . ' It will; be remembered that on Sunday night, Sept. I3th, Brown claimed to have been sand-bagged and robbed of the above amount of money while on duty at the depot. He afterwards' made a confession that he stole the money and lid it in a stone wall in the south part of the village and took the officers to the spot, where the money was found. He was indicted by the grand jury, which was in session at the time, and bail was furnished for his appearance at the present term of court.
