His imitation of Fred Pelkington singing \Tho Dying Cowboy\ was so natural that several of the boys were homesick, and so Post has dished-up enter- tainment to all the officers in the battalion. His wit Has helped mightily in squelching the \lumber shovers\ from Tonawanda. Notwithstanding tho rain, there has been a good deal amusement, and each succeeding day develops a keener rivalry between the separate companies and the 83th Regiment.
