Collectors Mrs. Feller Dies; Memorial Rites Planned Mrs. Edwin R. (Mildred) Feller, 55, of 509 Beach Drive, - died yesterday in Rochester where she had been hospitalized since suffering a sudden and severe attack while shopping with her daughter late last week. Mrs. Feller, wife of the in- strumental music director of local elementary schools, was born in Rochester April 19, 1917, daughter of John W. Lee and Oline R. Single Lee. ' A long-time resident of Medina, she was missionary coordinator for the Women's Missionary Fellowship of Har- tland Baptist Church; was active in cooperative Extension Service work, the Home - Builders Division, Orleans County, and in the Home Builder Group in Medina. The Toys for Tots program initiated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves is now in its 25th year. They estimate that 4.8 million toys were distributed nationally to 1.8 million children in 1971, The Marines work with local agencies in determining distribution of the toys. _ This year marks the second year of Kentucky Fried Chic- ken's affiliation with the Toys for Tots program. Boys Rescued After 40 Mile Trek CALGARY, Alta. (UPI) - The numb feeling of uncon- ciousness and thus certain death in the sub-zero tempera- tures kept creeping up on Fred Kopmann as he trudged through a foot and a half of snow. Then the remembrance of his three young sons trapped in the mountain pass would clear Kopmann's head and off he would go again in his trek for Kopmann fought his way 40 miles through a snow-clogged ' Rocky Mountain pass to save his sons, ranging in age from 6 to 11. They were found suffering from minor frostbite and exposure Tuesday but were reported in good condition. Kopmann was treated for frostbitten feet in a Banff hospital. The ordeal began late Sunday when Kopmann headed into the Rockies with his sons-Rolf, 11, ° Michael, 9, and Frank, 6-to look over some land he was - thinking of buying. Jeep Gets Stuck On a little-used forestry road about 42 miles southwest of inches of powdered snow. Repeated attempts to get the jeep moving again were unsuc- cessful. Kopmann said he decided to stay in the jeep until help came. After five hours the jeep ran out of gas. - Temperatures outside ranged from 20 to 35 degrees below zero. \I kept talking to them all night, until I got sick of the sound of my own < voice,\ Kopmann said. \I would call their names repeatedly and when one of them didn't answer, I'd shake him awake.\ Thirteen hours after the ordeal began, the sun came out and Kopmann decided to seek help.
