BROOKS NEW YORK (UP) - If you're wondering how you could swing a home purchase at this time, and if there's a veteran in the family, it might pay to check into benefits under the 1970 Veterans Housing Act. \Every veteran - whether or not he ever has purchased a home using VA loan guarantee benefits - owes it to himself and his family to look closely at the expanded benefits passed by Congress last year,\ advises Emanuel M. Brotman, chairman of the board of J. I. Kislak Mortgage Corp.
