She will return May 12, for personel interviews. The B. R. C S. quiz team de- feated Sackets Hanbor 117-115, on the WATN Challenge Quiz Pro- gram. The team members are Dave Kellock, Carol Erbin, Lowell Genzel and Karen Farney. The Freshmen class held a suc- cessful bake sale Friday, April 30. Lowell Genzely Karen Farney, JD-aive Keilock, and Ruth Ann Bosh, art represented B R. C S. at the 9th annual Citizenship Day held at Syracuse University, on Saturday, May 1 Twenty-four students will take part m the Mock Session of the Unnted Nations to be held at Os- v. ego State Teachers College Sat- urday, May 8. At the regular school meeting Monday. May 10 the bids will be Joe Ferrence, Cartoonist, to Contribute Series of Eight Cartoons for Centennial opened for the installation of a central sound system, and student seating for the new Junior-Senior Hig-h School Building, On Friday, May 14 the Junior and Senior classes will sponsor a Spring Dance from 9-1 at -the Community Hall. Music will be furnished by Vrooman's orchestra. On Monday, May 24, a tag day will ,be held in Beaver Falls for the benefit ot the B R C. S Student Loan Fund Students iwill call and solicit contributions at all homes and business establishments, be- tween 1 arid 3pm The purpose of the Fund is to help any student, through a 1 loan to continue his education past high school In ord- er that the project should ibe a success the Fund should be larger USE A CLASSIFIED Joe Ferrence, Lowville cartoon- ist of great talent, has volunteered to do eight cartoons publicizing the Lowville Centennial Celebration and will be run m the Leader m the next eight weeks until the Centennial weekend. Mr Ferrence has a natural wit, a rich sense of humor and with, his sharp eye for details of -the village in -which he lives, ibis mag- ic pen turns out cartoons of a quality that belong in the leading magazines of the country. Mr Ferrenee asked the Leader if we would publish the cartoons as he \wanted to do his part for the Centennial\ While the car- toons will serve a great part m publicizing our 100th birthday celebration, we will try to raise some -money for the Centennial with them also.
