The Beaver Falls high school boys basket ball team defeated the Dexter high school team by a score of 27 to 17 on the local court Friday •vett- ing, Dec. 11. It was the second vic- tory of the season for - tha Beaver's. Burdlck, with Un points* waa high scorer for the locals. The Dexter Juniors defeated the Beaver Juniors by a score of 21 to U. Mr. and Mra. G. S. Parker received a measage Monday of the auddan death of Michael Ragan at his home in Adams Basin on Sunday after- noon, Deo. 13. Mr. Ra- gan >waa a former resident of this village. Funeral services win be held Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. Ha is survived by his widow and one daugh- ter. Much sympathy is extended to the daughter, as her mother has been 111 and under a nurse's care for aev- aral wef ks.
