Miller passed away at her home in Boonvill© last Thurs- day aifternoon, after an illness of two weeks. Mary E. Lane was born In Leyden, July 81, 1851,, a daughter of the late Valentine and fcally Loornla Lane. January 2, 1870, ah* married Mr. Miller and 1n 1907 moved to Boonville, where they had since resided. Mrs. Miller was very active in vil- lage affaire and had a host of friends. She was a member of the Methodist church and Its Woman's Missionary and Ladies' Aid Societies; Salma Chapter. O. E. S.; Boonville Historical Society and Leyden Orange.
